We are seeking friendly, proactive candidates that have a passion for our mission to join our intern team! Our internships are unpaid , last 3‐6 months and take place during office hours Monday through Friday (9:00 am-5:00 pm) at our Career Center. Interns typically work 10‐15 hours per week and we do ask interns to work special events that may occur during outside of scheduled hours. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your existing academic or work schedule.

The purpose of the Retail Marketing Internship is to refine and implement an effective, long term marketing and social media campaign to engage young professionals with the Working Wardrobes Laguna Hills store.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Research effective marketing campaigns done byother social enterprises

• Work withthe intern supervisorto design a marketing campain with focused elements to engage young and aspiring professionals.

• Create coupons and collateral to distribute to high school seniors and other outlets foryoungprofessionals.

• Brainstorm and refine cold calling scripts and techniques to engage young people both for newcustomers,donations and volunteers..

• Create a metric system to track, test, and measure results of the campaign.

• Assist in retail sales and everyday store processes when needed, including stocking, tagging, customer service, andother retail responsibilities.

Desired Experience/Background:

• Passion for social enterprise and making a difference

• Creative, driven and self motivated.

• Marketing and social media experience- self taught or classroom.

• Leadership experience is a plus!
