Hospice of the Western Reserve operates a Resale Shop located on the east side of Cleveland. Proceeds go towards providing for patient needs not covered by other means. Our shop carries higher- end merchandise including some furniture, small appliances and home goods, as well as fashionable and vintage clothing items, jewelry, collectibles, antiques and all kinds of unique items! Positions needed to fill: Cashier (retail experience a plus but not required / will train), Asst. Manager, someone to repair small electronics at in-store workshop, someone to clean, sort, and price donated items, and someone to make occasional minor repairs to clothing. This is a fun and social environment and hours are scheduled according to the volunteers' availability. 4 hours of volunteer training required (provided by agency). Description
Hospice of the Western Reserve provides care for patients where ever they call home, whether that be at home, in a nursing home, assisted living, one of our inpatient units, or in a hospital. Care is provided regardless of ability to pay. We use a team approach where volunteers are of equal importance to all other members of the team.
Hospice of the Western Reserve serves Northern Ohio with offices in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, and Summit counties.CAUSE AREAS
