During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Would you be able to donate 2 hours or more a month of your time to visit with our patients that are Veterans? Kindred Hospice is devoted to ensuring our Veterans receive the highest level of care. Our Veteran to Veteran Volunteer Program allows our patients who have served our country to be paired with a Veteran volunteer to share stories and experiences together. Veteran Patient Care Volunteers truly enhance the quality of life for our Veteran patients by sharing a common language, code of conduct and honor, conversation and camaraderie. You may also participate in Veteran pinning ceremonies, offer knowledgeable support to patients, caregivers, and staff and so much more. If you are a Veteran and would like to help Veterans on our service have a meaningful quality of life as their life's journey comes to a close, please contact the Manager of Volunteer Services at 717-612-1200.
