At one event or several, team members join other Red Cross and community volunteers for breakfast, orientation and training, and then canvas in neighborhoods across the region to educate families on how to prevent home fires and build a fire response plan, and test existing smoke detectors and/or install new ones.
Families are welcome and can work together!
Breakfast served!
Wrap up by noon!
Great community service opportunity for high school students!
Families welcome, minors need to stay with their parents throughout the events.
