The Kawartha Lakes Food Source is currently in need of some extra help in our warehouse, specifically help stocking shelves. This volunteer position requires repetitive overhead lifting. The boxes you will be stocking weight approximately 30lbs so upper body strength is important.
Any day of the week during the 2nd and 3rd week of each month, between 9am until 4pm.
Ideally we are looking for a commitment of 2 hours or more a visit but that is flexible.

Requirements:
-must be able to stand and do overhead lifting (approx. 30lb)
-work boots/long pants
-references and a police check

Description
Kawartha Lakes Food Source is a small not for profit organziation located in Lindsay Ontario and supports the City of Kawartha Lakes local food banks as well as supporting school breakfast programs in the local community. Our organization has one full time staff (Executive Director) and 4 part time staff. Volunteers play a key component in supporting the work that we do,
