Kidsbridge Tolerance Center seeks volunteer facilitators for its new 2016 mobile outreach program to schools, predominantly for grades 3, 4, 5, and 6. Kidsbridge’s programs educate and empower youth through interactive activities in bullying prevention, diversity appreciation and pro-social life skills. In school classrooms, students practice being positive advocates for themselves and others to promote the reduction of bullying, prejudice, and discrimination.
Qualified applicants must possess:
Willingness to attend training during the summer of 2016
Prior teaching/group facilitation experience
Strong communication and leadership skills
A flexible schedule
Ability to drive to designated sites
Prior experience working with this age group is desirable.
A background check is required.
