You can help fuel (feed) hungry students and mentors!
MINDDRIVE inspires students in Kansas City and the surrounding areas to expand their vision of the future, and for them to be a positive influence on the community. At MINDDRIVE, mentors work with students based on a 2-1 ratio to develop relationships while learning at the same time. See more about MINDDRIVE at: www.minddrive.org
Breakfast and lunch are essential for students to gain the most from our programs. Meals and snacks are provided during our 32-week core programs from October-May as a way for students and mentors to form a stronger bond by sharing a meal. We are able to provide meals because of generous in-kind and financial donations.
Our goal is to provide more home-cooked meals in the 2017-2018 program year. We are searching for individuals or groups to provide a meal (to feed approximately 60). There are many options for individuals, families and groups to be involved. See below...
Donate a meal: Bring breakfast or lunch on a Saturday of your choosing to feed approximately 60 people. Gather your friends or family and make it a fun activity or accept the challenge yourself. Breakfast is served around 8:45am and lunch begins around 12:30pm. This is a great option if you love to cook!
Serve a meal: Whether you bring a dish or not, we always want to show off the student's amazing work. Join the fun and see what MINDDRIVE is all about by serving and sharing a meal on a regular or one time basis.
Join the MINDFULL Committee: The MINDFULL Committee is a group of dedicated individuals who work with local caterers, restaurants, corporations and individuals to seek donations and arrange for delivery or pickup of all meals. MINDFULL Committee members communicate with donors on a regular basis and play a critical role in our program.
