Bake birthday cakes for foster children & at risk youth in Mill Valley, California
17 people are interested
At Cake4Kids we bake and deliver birthday cakes to foster children and at risk youth. We aim to raise their self-esteem with this seemingly simple gift on their special day. We support all sorts of agencies in our community - homeless, human trafficking, domestic violence, transitional housing, etc.
If you like to bake and decorate cakes, you would love you to volunteer with Cake4Kids. We don't have any minimum commitments - you can bake 1 cake or 20 cakes a year...it's up to you. It's fun and rewarding and truly the "sweetest" volunteer opportunity you can participate in. After all - who doesn't love birthday cake?
Please note we are only in Northern California so only need volunteers in that region.
Please note: We are very serious about the quality of the cakes we bake for the children we serve. For that reason, if a child would like to volunteer, they must be at least 16. We also require a proof of age and will ask to see proof at the orientation session. If under 18 years of age, please supply parent/guardian's name, email and phone number, and their driver's license and insurance details.
Please help us deliver more smiles to children in need - one birthday cake at a time.
We'll work with your schedule.
