Greet people who come to the gallery exhibits and tell them about the ARt Center. You are often the first contact someone has when visiting the Center for the Arts.

The time requirements are every Thursday from 10 to 2.

Mission Statement

Mount Dora Center for the Arts (MDCA) is a community oriented, nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering an understanding and appreciation of art and culture through exhibitions, art festivals, and educational programs.

Description

MDCA is a community art and education center. Maintaining a gallery of changing exhibits of original art by local artists, we also provide classes, seminars, workshops, lectures and "explorariums" in art and related subjects throughought the year. Examples of classes are: Pottery and Clay, Ballet, Group Music, Individual Voice, Art for Children, Painting, Drawing, Calligraphy,etc. We also host the county's major event, the Mount Dora Arts Festival, each year.
