AccentCare Hospice is seeking pre-nursing students for our Volunteer Program! This is a wonderful opportunity to serve your community as well as enhance your applications for the Nursing program. We offer flexible schedules and opportunities to use your talents and unique life experiences. Our Volunteers are able to contribute to the care of our patients and/or also assist with administrative duties.
Some of the ways volunteers help:
Offering compassionate friendship
Giving companionship to patient/caregiver
reading
listening
working on crafts
helping with hair or makeup
playing cards and games
providing relief to caregivers
