The Haas-Lilienthal House


House Tours: Volunteers lead the public through tours of the exterior and interior of the Haas-Lilienthal House. Public tours are offered on Saturday (12-3), and Sunday (12-3). Volunteers must complete training in order to conduct tours and are asked to commit to two shifts a month for at least a year.

School Tours: Tours are offered to select 3rd-grade classrooms through our popular Heritage Hikes program. December through May school groups schedule visits for Tuesdays and Thursdays and are given a volunteer guided tour of the Haas-Lilienthal House. Heritage Hike House tours involve additional teaching aids than a regular House tour. Volunteers complete training in order to conduct Heritage Hikes tours and must commit to two shifts per month for at least a year.

In addition to supporting historic preservation in San Francisco, we are also stewards of the Haas-Lilienthal House which serves as our office and is also open to the public as a house museum.
