A 2 nd Cup is looking for volunteers to help out around our shop!

A 2nd Cup is a non-profit coffee shop doing our part to fight human-trafficking in our city. As a coffee shop we intend to raise awareness about human-trafficking and to provide a place in the community where people can gather and take positive action against this issue. We also intend to raise funds to support aftercare solutions for survivors of human-trafficking, including counseling, mentoring, work-experience and education.

Opportunities:

Volunteer Barista

Our Baristas are the face of the shop. They do everything from making coffee to assembling furniture. No prior coffee experience is required and all training will be provided. Serve coffee and fight human trafficking!

Training will enable you to:

+ Communicate the mission of A 2ND CUP

+ Conduct sales using iPad

+ Make signature drinks

+ Utilize coffee equipment

+ Assist staff

Volunteer Cook

In addition to delicious drinks we also have an awesome food menu! Our cooks make most everything we serve in the shop from scratch from fair trade syrups to Snickerdoodle cookies.

Training will enable you to:

+ Communicate the mission of A 2 nd Cup

+ Navigate a commercial kitchen space

+ Assist staff with food prep and plating
