Actively seeking many, long term commitment Brownell and Holmes STEM academies in Flint isseek ing Adults 16+ who are interested in engaging with children in academics or physical youth activities on a long term basis. There are two schools available, Brownell which is K - 2, and Holmes which is 3 - 7. Help them with homework or play activities. Brownell functions on
Monday and Wednesday (Holmes on Tuesday and Thursday), 3:00 - 5:30 for academics and
activities or 5:30 to 7:00 for sports groups. If you are skilled in something like dance, you have the opportunity to start a group and teach children your skill. Duration of programming is a 6 week commitment. Training will be provided. Our most senior volunteer is 78, no age limit!
