Position Description: Program Asst. works with The College Factory Program Coordinator developing communications and helping to plan and execute events and educational programs. Responsibilities include researching, writing, organizing, arranging adviser schedules, and promoting events to members and to the community. Duties will be approximately 70% project oriented and 30% clerical. Clerical duties include working with organizational database, mailings to members, and general assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage scheduling and training support of volunteer college & career advisers
Cultivate partnerships with area organizations and businesses
Assist in the planning of creative, yet informative events for program members and the surrounding community
Manage adviser tracking database to ensure accurate information is being gathered from program participants.

Our coaches execute sessions related to many topics including admissions, financial aid, testing, surviving in college, resume building, the SAT and ACT, and much more. We believe that by building a culture around post-secondary planning, our community will not only have the belief they can succeed, but also the knowledge on how to succeed as well.
