General Duties
* Research and identify private and public funding prospects to match 911 Dog Rescue, Inc. priorities.
* Engages with program officers at organizations to solicit invitations to submit proposals.
* Generate proposals and supporting documents in response to solicitations in a timely and scheduled manner.
* Generate revenues for 911 Dog Rescue, Inc.'s programs and services through timely submission of well-researched, well-written, and well-documented fundraising proposals.
* Maintains and implements grant writing calendar of activities.
* Writes and submits reports to foundations and other funders.
* Acts as a liaison with program staff, all funding agencies and organizations.
* Maintain high degree of honesty and integrity.
* Maintain security and confidentiality of all 911 Dog Rescue, Inc. documents and files.
* Maintain positive attitude and positive image

Description
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) Dog Rescue with a small but mighty team of volunteers who go to extraordinary lengths each and every day to:
- Save dogs who are scheduled to be euthanized
- Find adoptive homes for abused and discarded dogs including seniors, pregnant dogs and their pups
- Match discarded senior dogs to Senior Citizens who are independent, live alone plus long for companionship
- Match the right canines to PTSD adults and autistic children who need service dogs
- Promote and advance our inmate/dog Prison Rehabilitation Program (L.E.C. Conneaut Prison)
- Provide food and supplies to low income families (McKinley Outreach Center)
- Assist Women Safe, a battered women's shelter, to protect both the women and their pets
