This is a Virtual Opportunity, with no fixed address.


Duties include the following:

¨ Survey CEO and Adoption Coordinators regularly to assess needs for foster assistance.

¨ Devise innovative foster recruiting methods.

¨ Publicize fostering opportunities to the community.

¨ Proactively recruit and pre-screen then co-review foster applications and co-interview foster applicants (includes home visits/phone interviews) with Adoption Coordinators. This includes processing incoming foster inquiries.

¨ Closely partner with Adoption Coordinators as ACs ensure that:

­ All foster application forms, guidelines, processes and procedural documents are complete, current and on file;

­ Foster orientation and training is conducted plus current;

­ The foster program is effective; and

­ Foster program recommended changes are implemented if/as appropriate.

¨ Ensure that the foster program is sufficiently staffed at all times.

¨ Participate in annual foster events, recognition programs and special foster events.

¨ Host and attend foster recruiting events within the community to attract qualified candidates.

¨ Develop and maintain relationships with other foster organizations within the area.
