ReStore Volunteers are vital to our success. The ReStore runs on a very small staff and we rely on volunteers every day to help us meet our goals.
Our volunteers work alongside ReStore employees. You can volunteer once a month or every day if you would like - any time you can give is a big help to us.
Some of the opportunities at the ReStore may include:
- Customer service
- Merchandising
- Inventory management
- Merchandise restoration/repair
- Store maintenance
- Store rennovation
- Product pricing
- Donation pick-up services
- Receiving (unloading/loading merchandise from donation truck)
- Organizing stockroom
- Stocking shelves
- Store promotion (mailings, flyer distribution, etc.)

Description
The Houston Bay Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a non-profit resale store and donation center. Bay Area ReStore profit helps build quality and affordable homes for local families. It first opened its doors at the Webster, Texas location in March of 2015, and since continues to be operated by a small staff of employees and volunteers who share a passion for Habitat for Humanity’s mission.
