Mission Statement

Mission The Cambridge-Ellis School provides a warm, stimulating early-school experience in a joyful, loving environment built upon a foundation of trusting relationships with a diverse group of children and families. We promote the optimal development of the whole child through a creative, play-based, emergent curriculum, an emphasis on arts and outdoor play, and immersion language offerings.

Description

We are a preschool serving ages 2-5. Our teachers design emergent curriculum with emphasis on the Reggio Emilia and inquiry-based approach to learning. We have a very strong arts component that includes the Ann Murphy Artisan Program that connects our school with community artisans. We offer a very unique language immersion program for children ages 2.9-6. We offer French, Mandarin and Spanish and all language teachers are native speakers. We also boast two beautiful playgrounds and an extensive children's library. Our families and staff create our culturally diverse environment.
