The Calgary Dream Centre is committed to meeting individuals where they are and providing them with the tools necessary to move forward into strong, healthy lives. The three phases of our process include: addiction recovery, transitional housing, and long term affordable housing. Our ultimate goal is for the men and women we serve to reconnect to their families and become productive, contributing members of society. You can be a part of that through volunteering.
We currently have a home that is in desperate need of new sod after a bout of a common lawn pest. We are hoping to connect with a small but hard-working employee or civic/church group that is willing to roll up their sleeves and make this happen. It would be even better if your group has a budget to help us defray the costs of this project. If you think you can help in one or both of these ways please contact us.
The ideal group size will be smaller, between 5-10. You can expect 1/2 day to a full day of work.
