The Calgary Dream Centre is committed to meeting individuals where they are and providing them with the tools necessary to move forward into strong, healthy lives. The three phases of our process include: addiction recovery, transitional housing, and long term affordable housing. Our ultimate goal is for the men and women we serve to reconnect to their families and become productive, contributing members of society. You can be a part of that through volunteering.
October is Fall cleanup time at all 47 of our community houses. Each year during the month of October we focus heavily on making sure our community houses are the nicest on the block and ready for winter. Bring your group and help us clean out flowerbeds, rake yards, paint and repair fences, wash windows and other exterior tasks.
We can take groups of ten per house but we can place a larger group at multiple houses. We always ask that you bring as many of your own tools as possible and that you consider purchasing disposables such as paint and garbage bags but it is not a requirement!
