Main Line Adult Day Center has a wonderful outside garden with tables, chairs and raised flower beds. We are looking for people who are interested in helping our members plant, maintain and enjoy the outside garden space.
When weather is not cooperating for outside activities, indoor activites related to gardening are encouraged. Volunteers are needed to assist in these activities as well.

Description
Main Line Adult Day Center (MLADC) has served the needs of chronically ill adults and their families in the community since its non-profit incorporation in 1989. The Board of Directors is a partnership of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church and Main Line Health System. Our program is designed to meet the needs of adults with cognitive and physically limitations, such as Alzheimer’s and related dementia, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, developmental disabilities, heart conditions, etc.
Our goal is to support clients in achieving and maintaining the highest possible level of independence and well-being so that they may continue living in their communities. Center services enhance the quality of life for our clients and their families, delay or prevent full-time institutional care, and reduce hospital readmission and emergency room visits.
