Many families are caring for an aging parent or spouse and need a few hours to get out of the house. By providing caregiver respite, you give them the chance to re-fuel, to get errands done, to replenish...while you spend joyful time with their loved one. We provide training and support so that you are comfortable providing much needed respite for a family that needs you.
This opportunity is perfect for a retired health professional or even for someone who has been a caregiver in the past. You don't need a medical background, just a caring heart.

The mission of the Neighborhood Network for Seniors - Block Nurse Program is to enable seniors to live safely at home for as long as possible by providing community supported volunteer and nursing services. This grass roots approach connects neighbors to neighbors and provides seniors with the resources to stay living in the homes they love, safely, independently and connected to their community. Volunteers and seniors are at the core of what we do!
