ORGANIZATION: Verde Valley Caregivers Coalition

Verde Valley Caregivers Coalition provides free Guardian Angels (personal security units) to qualified seniors and people with disablities throughout the Verde Valley.

We are looking for volunteers, who we train, to install the medical alert units. You can do it at your convenience. We also have the G. A. volunteers servicing the units. It is a very flexible and rewarding way to provide peace of mind to a person who lives alone. We are in dire need for volunteers in Rimrock or Camp Verde.

Verde Valley Caregivers provides volunteers to help seniors and adults with disabilities with services to help them maintain their independence and quality of life at home.

Description

Volunteers provide services at no charge to seniors and adults with disabilities . Services include transportation to/from doctors' appointments, friendly phone calls and visits, shopping with and for neighbors, food bank delivery, respite care, handyperson help, business help, installation and maintenance of the Guardian Angel Pendant personal security system and much more.
