On behalf of ASSE International, I want to thank you for visiting our posted site here on VolunteerMatch.org.

Volunteerism can be a most rewarding experience. By becoming an ASSE International Host Family you can make the most of your volunteer experience. Families who are willing to host exchange students are special people who have an appreciation for making the world a more harmonious place one relationship at a time. As the Arizona, California and NewMexico Area Coordinator for ASSE, I would like to invite you to host an exchange student for the upcoming school year starting in August 2018.

Host families provide a bed, a place for the student to study and three meals a day while providing a loving and caring family environment for the student who participates in the family’s life as one of their own. Host families accept and treat their foreign exchange students as part of their family in the same manner they would treat their own children.

It takes a certain type to be an ASSE Host Family. You will be providing a valuable service to a young exchange student from another country and help them to realize the rewards of an intercultural exchange. Through this program, exchange students and you as a host family will be contributing to world of harmony and understanding. Student applications are coming in and there is a broad selection at this time of the year. Also, schools are receptive to accepting exchange students now, and we want to make the most of these opportunities.
