Programs across our organization are currently looking for guest speakers in a variety of different areas of expetise.
Currently, our employment programing would love to locate a speaker to speak to job seekers about LinkedIn and how to make their profile stand out to potential employers. As well as how to use LinkedIn effectively as a job search tool without paying for a membership as the majority of our clients would not be able to afford the fee.
We operate programs throughout Hennepin, Ramsey, and Dakota Coutnies in the Twin Cities as well as in St Cloud, MN.

Description
Avivo serves nearly 15,000 Minnesotans each year, helping them achieve recovery, stable housing, employment and economic advancement. Founded in 1960, Avivo provides chemical and mental health services, housing support services, career education and employment services. We specialize in helping individuals and families who face personal or systemic barriers - poverty, homelessness, joblessness, chemical addiction or mental health concerns.
Avivo is unique because we pair our services to help individuals achieve lasting success. Our chemical and mental health services include chemical and mental health assessments, substance use disorder treatment (outpatient and residential) for individuals and families, mental health therapy, targeted case management and care coordination. Our ending homelessness services include street outreach for individuals living unsheltered, indoor tiny houses shelter (Avivo Village), hotel-to-home initiatives, transitional recovery housing and housing targeted case management. We operate Avivo Institute of Career & Technical Education which provides short-term training to earn industry credentials that launch individuals on career pathways and living wage jobs. Our full range of employment services customizes support for unemployed and under-employed individuals who are struggling to find work, transition or start their careers.
