Are you looking for a way to give back to your community? You can help spread the word about The HealthCare Connection (THCC) to those who may be in need of healthcare services in the communities we serve. THCC is launching a new ambassador program called Roots. Ambassadors will help promote THCC's mission to provide quality, culturally sensitive and accessible primary health care services focusing on the medically underserved, underinsured, and uninsured residing in northern Hamilton County and surrounding areas.

THCC's Roots Committee is seeking volunteers who can represent a cross-section of THCC's service area with varied backgrounds and interests.

The major role of Roots Ambassadors is to champion the THCC cause by:

• Supporting, promoting and spreading the word about THCC and its mission
• Helping create and promote community events to build healthier neighborhoods
• Attending monthly/quaterly meetings

We are hositng an informational session and invite you to learn more about this initiative. The informational session will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Lincoln Heights Health Center. The Open House will begin at 5:45pm with an informational session from 6:00pm-7:00pm.
