Applicant must have the following:

 Writing and editing capabilities (3+ years)

 Social media and/or web experience (3+ years)

 Comfortable using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (2+ years)

 Comfortable with data sets such as CRM (contact resource management information)

 Experience or interest in speaking with community and organizational leaders

 Organized and communicative

 Friendly, energetic and positive

Position Description:

 Volunteer will work directly with the Executive Director and the Director of Public Relations to ensure events

postings, speaking engagements and co-sponsors programs are being written, developed and delivered in a

timely and accurate fashion

 Working with the Social Media Coordinator to ensure events are presented online

 Writing, creating and sending emails to volunteers, sponsors, donors, partners and members

 Writing press releases, event information and other writing and editing projects as needed

 Ensuring contacts are kept current and keeping lines of communication with partners and volunteers
