Writing and editing capabilities (3+ years)
Social media and/or web experience (3+ years)
Comfortable using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (2+ years)
Comfortable with data sets such as CRM (contact resource management information)
Experience or interest in speaking with community and organizational leaders
Organized and communicative
Friendly, energetic and positive
Position Description:
Volunteer will work directly with the Executive Director and the Director of Public Relations to ensure events
postings, speaking engagements and co-sponsors programs are being written, developed and delivered in a
timely and accurate fashion
Working with the Social Media Coordinator to ensure events are presented online
Writing, creating and sending emails to volunteers, sponsors, donors, partners and members
Writing press releases, event information and other writing and editing projects as needed
Ensuring contacts are kept current and keeping lines of communication with partners and volunteers
