POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Setup Team: Come out and help us get ready each week for our Thursday concerts! We need help setting up tents, putting out drinks for sale and getting things ready for the event. After you are done volunteering, you'll be able to sit back and enjoy the show. 4-6p
Clicker Counter: Help us gather the number of guests that join us each week! This position is quite easy but extremely important. Greenway staff will provide your hand counter, and you can relax on the event trail listening to music while guests pass by. 5:30-8p
Golf Cart Driver: Volunteer golf cart drivers (16+) help drive elderly and handicap guests from the Dairy Barn Parking Lot down to the Comporium Amphitheater ([1/2 mile). General knowledge of golf cart maneuvering required.
Parking: Parking is pretty straightforward when guests are using the Dairy Barn Parking Lot. However, once we hit a certain number our overfill lot AKA horse pasture is put to use! Volunteers allow guests to feel welcomed as they pull into the pasture and are directed to an appropriate spot. Greenway staff will lead this position, but volunteers are needed for meeting the crowd demands. 5:30-7p
Beer Sales: Help us sell beer, wine and sodas to thirsty guests at our Summer Concert Series each Thursday in June, July and August! All volunteers must be 21+. You’ll be asked to pour draft beer, open bottles of wine and grab cold drinks from the cooler. Staff will be on hand taking payments, but you may be asked to help check IDs as well. 6:15-8:30p
PURPOSE: To ensure that every Thursday night summer concert runs smoothly!
LOCATION: Comporium Amphitheater (grounds) 291 Dairy Barn Lane, Fort Mill, SC 29715

Description
Leroy Springs & Company has been providing recreational and educational opportunities to the communities surrounding Springs Industries facilities for over 60 years. In 1995, the Anne Springs Close Greenway, a 2,100 acre nature preserve in Fort Mill, South Carolina, was dedicated to the public to serve as a natural buffer from urban development and a place for countless activities - from hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding, to picnics, kayaking and more.
The land was donated by the children of Anne Springs Close to honor her lifelong commitment to recreation and the environment. The Greenway is a not-for-profit entity which receives no ongoing tax dollars to build, maintain or operate its programs, trails and facilities. Owned and managed by Leroy Springs & Company, the Greenway is funded in part by memberships, program fees and generous donations from individuals and corporations.
