Compassionate Action Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue group that is committed to saving the lives of our community's unwanted, abused and abandoned cats and kittens. We are a strictly volunteer organization that operates out of Petco in Selden in Suffolk County, NY.

We are seeking volunteers who can donate 45 minutes of their time once every week to help care for our cats housed in Selden Petco. Responsibilities include giving the cats fresh food and water, scooping litter, sweeping/wiping down the cages, and playing with the cats. We have morning and evening shifts available and we can work with you to fit your schedule. Description

Compassionate Action Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) group that is committed to saving the lives of our community's unwanted, abused and abandoned cats and kittens. We are a strictly volunteer organization that operates out of Petco in Selden, Suffolk County, NY. Following rescue, our wonderful foster homes provide much-needed love, medical attention and socialization. After testing, vaccination and other necessary medical care, our cats and kittens are kept in a safe environment until their perfect forever home is found. All prospective homes are carefully screened to meet our high standards, which ensure the best possible ending for all.
