Interested in helping girls grow into the confident leaders of tomorrow but don't have the amount of time needed to be a Girl Scout Leader? Become an Indie Advisor and help Individually Registered Girl Scouts navigate the world of Girl Scouting!

Indie Girl Scouts have the same experiences as any other Girl Scout but is not affiliated with a troop. She discovers, connects and takes action through her own path but needs someone like you to act as her liaison between her local service unit and the council. By participating in montly meetings you will be an advisor to the girls who are in need of support and information to stay up to date all things Girl Scouting.

This is a great opportunity to get involved and impact the lives of many girls without a strenuous time commitment.

Description

When people think about Girl Scouts, they think crafts, cookies, and camp but a lot has changed in 103 years. Here at the Girl Scouts, Hornets’ Nest Council our girls get their hands dirty with bugs and bones, put their minds to work on science and engineering projects, challenge their body and minds with challenge courses and 5k’s, help breast cancer patients survive their toughest moments, and build lasting relationships with fellow Girl Scouts. We serve extraordinary girls in Anson, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Montgomery, Rowan, Stanly, Union and York counties and we are always in need of extraordinary adults to help our girls reach their full potential. Are you up for it?
