In preparation for the upcoming Summer Spectacle, Once a Blue - Cada Luna Azul, Double Edge Theatre is looking for volunteers! We need volunteers in a variety of different areas including but not limited to:

  • Scenic painting
  • Costume design and building
  • Light design for outdoor scenes
  • Outdoor art installations and sculpture
  • Puppet making including large outdoor puppets
  • Mask making
  • Administrative assistance
  • Set Building
  • Cooking
  • Landscaping/Grounds Keeping

This is a great way to experience the variety of areas the Theatre is involved in and see what it means to be part of Double Edge’s living culture. No experience is needed but any experience is welcomed!

Overnight Housing Available for Long Term Volunteers

Workdays Sunday through Friday 10-5

Double Edge Theatre ’s mission is to create a 'living culture’ by developing the highest quality of original theatre performance, based on the long-term imaginative work of the actor and his/her interaction with the communities in which the work takes place, and by cultivating at its home in Ashfield, MA - the Farm - a permanent center of performance, training, research, and cultural exchange. The goal is to elevate the creation and understanding of artistic expression and cultural mutuality between artists and their communities.
