Breakfast is served from 7:30 am until 9:30 am
Lunch is served from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm
Dinner is served from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm
Dining Staff will train you.
Volunteers are asked to report to the Dining Room at least 15 minutes before the meal begins.
Volunteers can help serve meals for at least 1 hour a week. More time is helpful, but the minimum time to volunteer will be 1 hour.
Volunteer application must be completed.
Two TB tests must be done at no cost to the volunteer. TB tests must be read within 48 hours after the TB test has been given. The 2nd TB test will be given to you 1-3 weeks after your 1st TB test is read. Again, you must agree to return to St. Mary's Home within 48 hours to get your TB test read.
A Criminal Background Check is also needed as part of the volunteer process. There is no cost to you for the background check.
You must also agree to attend a 2 hour training workshop for food handling which is done online. The cost of the training workshop is $12.95 which also allows you to obtain a certificate for food handling. The certificate is valid for 3 years.
