Moveable Feast

  • 30 people are interested

Meals are delivered to clients once a week, Monday through Friday.

Volunteer drivers set their own schedule according to how many days per week they wish to work and the area they request for the meal delivery. Volunteers are given a route sheet with the names and directions to their clients' homes. Meal delivery typically takes about 1-2 hours, though volunteers may request more if they would like.

Moveable Feast delivers to Baltimore City, the 5 counties surrounding, and the Eastern shore. Most deliveries made by volunteers occur in the city or county.

COVID Safe Practices:

  • All deliveries must be picked up at Moveable Feast between 9:00am-11:00am from our loading dock
  • All drivers are provided with gloves, hand sanitizer, and masks
  • All deliveries are no contact deliveries

Mission Statement

Moveable Feast provides nutritious foods and other services in order to preserve the quality of life for people with HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening conditions.

The core of our program is the free food service offered to people with HIV/AIDS, breast cancer, and other life-threatening conditions. This includes weekly meal delivery of up to 18 meals/week for clients struggling with severe illness and meal delivery to the homeless in Baltimore through partnerships with emergency shelters and drop-in centers.

Our registered dietitians provide free nutritional counseling to our clients to improve their eating habits and health long term. We also provide door-to-door transportation to medical appointments for Baltimore City clients who are too ill to drive or take public transportation.
