At IDEAA , positive impressions are essential to achieve our mission. As a Visual Designer you will work with the team to capture the essence of wonder and excitement in what attendees and sponsors see online and on the ground. Your focus on presentation through visuals will bring IDEAA to life in front of eyes around the world and inspire them to create their own masterpieces.
Once you’re here you will:
Work with fellow IDEAA volunteers to produce immersive and memorable event dress
Collaborate with other designers to research, build and define event themes
Join forces with the Communications team to enhance awareness of IDEAA online
Travel to deliver your creations first-hand
Qualifications we’re looking for:
4+ years of commercial/freelance visual design experience in digital/web and print
Comfortable working in agile, remote teams and self-policing on project work
Solid creative process with strong points in research
Passion over a broad range of creative skills - photography, music, fine art, whatever itches your creative spirit
Bonus: Fascination and/or experience with mobile computing and Android
Bonus: Front-end web production through HTML, CSS, JS, and more
Your contribution will:
Create opportunities for underserved communities around the world
Inspire developers of all skill levels and backgrounds to create
Be seen by thousands of attendees, thought leaders, noted speakers, and household brands

Description
IDEAA is a nonprofit organization made up of passionate designers, developers, enthusiasts, and volunteers. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to explore the digitally-built world we now live in. IDEAA's grassroots history means our team works and shares its purpose with a unique excitement and dedication.
Software development is an excellent way to improve critical thinking and creativity. IDEAA hosts a wide variety of exciting and educational developer events in areas often skipped by more traditional tech conferences. Our events feature content for every proficiency level and encourage attendees to work with each other in an informal and fun setting.
