ORGANIZATION: ANOKA COUNTY RSVP

Deliver nutritious meals to home-bound individuals who are in need! Interested volunteers are especially needed within the Northern part of Anoka County (Cedar, St. Francis, Ham Lake, East Bethel & Columbus) areas to pick up food from Our Saviors Lutheran Church and deliver meals to about 4-8 people. Drivers are needed weekdays from 10:45 AM to pick up meals from Our Saviors Lutheran Church and deliver to the assigned route that typically takes about an hour to complete.

Qualifications: Drivers must have a valid driver's license and insurance verification. Must also complete training/pass background check.

Commitment: Flexible about the number of days per month, but consistency is needed.

The Anoka County RSVP connects people age 55 and over who want to volunteer with non-profit and social service programs in Anoka County who need volunteers. Volunteers enroll by completing a skills and interests checklist and these are matched to community needs. From the matches, the volunteer selects a volunteer job that is meaningful and fits. Become one of nearly a half million RSVP volunteers across the country who are making a difference in their community.
