July 4th Backyard Barbecue
Mark your calendar to volunteer for the Backyard Barbecue on July 4th! Volunteers are needed from 5 pm-10 pm. Volunteers will get to enjoy food, fun, and fireworks while assisting the museum with its 4th annual July 4th event.

The volunteer mission is to supplement the mission of the Peoria Riverfront Museum by providing genuine hospitality to visitors, engaging visitors in educational programming, assisting with the interpretation of exhibitions, and inspiring the community through the value of volunteer service.
The Peoria Riverfront Museum is a one-of-a-kind collaboration where visitors can explore and learn about the world--from our own backyards to far-off galaxies. We focus on interdisciplinary learning--a fusion of art, history, science, and achievement designed to develop knowledge, critical thinking skills, and a lifelong passion for learning.
