Disaster Accountability Project (DAP), an organization founded after Hurricane Katrina, is seeking new Board members!
In particular, we are very interested in recruiting a new member with a background in fundraising/development.
DAP is the only independent watchdog of disaster relief and humanitarian aid.
We are involved in a range of advocacy to make sure preparedness works, relief is comprehensive, and recovery is responsive and accountable.
DAP's focus is both U.S. and global. We are building a new game-changing platform called SmartResponse that will maximize the impact of relief by helping donors identify the groups that have the greatest capacity to help. If the most transparent and deserving organizations raise more, aid efforts will be more effective and reach those in greatest need.
Over the next year, we'll be reaching out to civil society organizations in disaster vulnerable countries around the world.

This is a Virtual Opportunity, with no fixed address.
