The Arizona Council on Economic Education (ACEE) is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to improving economic and personal financial literacy in Arizona. ACEE has served close 1,000 schools since its inception.
Our annual fundraising dinner raises funds to support teachers and students in economic education. We hope to pilot a brief live auction at this year's dinner.
Have you had experience as an auctioneer? Can you help us to explore and make this live auction happen?

Mission Statement
Who We Are The Arizona Council on Economic Education (ACEE) is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to improving economic and personal financial literacy in Arizona. We offer programs at low or no cost thanks to financial support from corporations, small businesses, foundations, and individuals. Founded in 1997, the ACEE has impacted thousands of teachers and hundreds of thousands of students. Our Vision The ACEE envisions a world where all school-aged children are empowered through economic and personal financial literacy to make informed and rational choices throughout their lives as consumers, savers and investors, workers, entrepreneurs, citizens, and participants in a global economy.
Description
Our Programs
The ACEE conducts a comprehensive K-12 economic and personal finance education program for Arizona schools. This program includes:
- Training thousands of K-12 teachers and hundreds of thousands of their students each year in workshops, graduate classes, and in-service programs.
- Providing classroom-tested economic, personal finance, and entrepreneurship lessons. More than 1,500 lessons are correlated to Arizona’s K-12 economics standards.
- Conducting statewide and nationwide Stock Market Game, Finance Challenge and Economics Challenge competitions for K-12 students. Approximately 10,000 students participate in these competitions each year. In 2011 Arizona teams placed first and fourth in the national Economics Challenge competition.
