Our homes are built almost entirely by volunteers, both skilled and unskilled. Whether you are a contractor or have never picked up a hammer in your life, we need your help. Habitat for Humanity Greater Cincinnati has several construction sites across the Cincinnati area. All the equipment and safety gear you need for the day is provided and no previous experience is necessary.
Orientations take place at the start of each shift. Projects typically take place weekdays and Saturdays 8:30 am - 4 pm. Registration is required on our Community Connect website: https://habitatcincinnati.galaxydigital.com/

Description
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati is a non-profit, Christian housing ministry that seeks to eliminate substandard housing by building simple, decent, affordable homes which are sold to low-income families in need with a no-interest mortage.
Greater Cincinnati Habitat works in equal partnership with families, volunteers and donors building a sense of community as well as affordable housing. Our partners include corporations, churches, foundations, organizations and individual donors who donate money, labor and materials to fund and build our homes. Since our founding in 1986 as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, Greater Cincinnati Habitat has built, rehabbed or repaired over 450 homes.
