If you love clothes and enjoy working with them and seeing all the different styles, then this is right where you should be! The position requires occasional heavier lifting, bending, and standing for lengths of time (accommodations can be made, but may necessitate a change in the job description). This position has flexible hours and days, though a two-hour minimum is highly recommended to ensure enough time is given for productivity.

Temporary or longer term positions available! Are you interested in making a difference by volunteering for Help Center, Inc.?
Help Center, Inc. provides support and guidance to Help Center 211, Sexual Assault Counseling Center (SACC), Hearts & Homes (H&H), Child Advocacy Center (CAC), and Sack’s Thrift Stores, so that these programs can continue to serve the community. Our core value is the belief that an effective, compassionate response to clients in crisis and in need is critical to the well being of a community.
The Sack’s Stores aim to generate major funding for our counseling programs. They strive to provide innovative thrift store services, including the distribution of free emergency goods to those in need, reasonably priced quality merchandise for everyone, and responsible recycling of donated goods. Sacks is 100% local, 100% nonprofit.

Mission Statement
Sacks Thrift exists to provide major financial support for the Sexual Assault Counseling Center, which provides outreach and advocacy for those whose lives have been affected by sexual assault; to provide major financial support for the Help Center, a local 24-hour crisis counseling and referral hotline, 406.586.3333, which includes suicide prevention; to offer affordable merchandise to the local community; to work with local service agencies to provide merchandise to those in need; and to encourage responsible recycling of quality goods.
Description
Sacks Thrift in Bozeman and Belgrade are non-profit thrift stores whose only source of funding comes through donations of quality used merchandise from local community members. All quality donated merchandise is sold through the stores with all proceeds, after operating costs, directly benefiting the Help Center, which has a 24-hour crisis line, 406.586.3333, that includes suicide prevention, the Sexual Assault Counseling Center (SACC), and a 211 line for social services located in Bozeman, and the Child Advocacy Center (CAC). Because the stores primarily exist to provide major financial support to the Help Center and SACC, volunteer support is crucial to insuring store productivity remains high while store operating costs remain low. We have many opportunities for volunteers to find their niche within the organization. For more information on Sacks, or to fill out a volunteer application, please visit us at www.sacksthrift.org. You will find complete information about the Help Center and SACC at www.bozemanhelpcenter.org.
