Poll Workers are the front-line representation of the Registrar of Voters office. During an election, it takes more than 6,000 poll workers to staff Alameda County's polling place locations. These devoted community volunteers assist voters with voting process and operate polling places on Election Day.
Assist us on Election Day and make voting accessible to all voters in Alameda County. Get involved, contribute to your community, and learn about the electoral system! All poll workers earn stipend for their service on Election Day.
General Election is held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.

Description
The Alameda County Registrar of Voters is working diligently to recruit Poll Workers and Bilingual Poll Workers to serve on Election Day. We need your help to assist the Bilingual communities throughout Alameda County.
This opportunity allows you to become civically engaged as well as earn extra money. The extra money can be placed in your name or donated to a church or organization of your choice.
To further promote civic engagement among all residents of Alameda County, encourage your friends and family to serve on Election Day.
Lawful Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders) may now serve as Bilingual Poll Workers to assist those voters whose primary language is not English.
Bilingual Poll Workers Must:
Be assessed in English and one of the following languages: Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, or Vietnamese.
Serve in designated bilingual Polling Places.
