Enjoy the outdoors this spring and summer while helping children and adults with disabilities to do the same! Outdoors for All Day Camps provide an active camp environment for children with and without disabilities ages 5 - 17. Campers will be on the move enjoying activities that may include rock climbing, cycling, hiking, trips to the zoo, and visits to local parks. Volunteers will serve as buddies for campers, supporting campers in these activities and throughout the day. We also have an Adult Adventure Day program for adults with disabilities ages 18+, which include exciting adventure activities and life skills classes.
Camps are based our of Magnuson Park in Seattle, Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah, and Marymoor Park in Redmond. Camps runs Monday through Friday from 8:45am - 3:30pm (some activities may require an earlier start time). Volunteer for the whole week or just a day or two! We have camps starting in February and going through September.
New Day Camp volunteers are required to attend a Volunteer Orientation session, held on April 4th and the second Wednesday of the month starting in May from 6 - 8pm in The Brig at Magnuson Park. All Day Camp volunteers (new and returning) are required to take an online training. Volunteers are added to the online training course after they register and they must complete the training before beginning to volunteer with Day Camp.
