-The volunteer will be the envoy or the ambassador of the Foundation, by promoting the projects on GlobalGiving among their life circle: family, friends, college/work colleagues and neighbours. The way to do it is by word of mouth and social media.
-The volunteer wil create a database of potential people to reach, and with meetings on a weekly basis the Foundation will get to know the updatings.
-The volunteer will have access to virtual material such as portfolio and photos to present to people.
-The volunteer will have the opportunity to share his/her ideas with our staff about how to engage individuals as donors.

GlobalGiving was founded by two former World Bank executives who decided to use the Internet to create a highly efficient marketplace. The GlobalGiving platform enables more funding to reach projects throughout the globe, and, at the same time, provides a more transparent, engaging way for donors to give.
Because we enable donors to give directly to projects, they know exactly where their money is going. Donors can see progress updates on most projects as funding is received and goals are met.
