About

The TalkOnDiabetes Foundation, a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, was created to encourage personal and positive development within the diabetic community. Our website was created to provide access to objective information and data reports about past and current trends relative to diabetes. We believe this is the most constructive way to show people with diabetes and diabetes-related conditions what is happening in today's ever-changing world.

We are looking for several volunteers who can assist us with several upcoming health fairs in the New York City area. The following schedule of events are for 2016:

April 30 at 930am Coney Island, Brooklyn
May 10 at 11am Jamaica, Brooklyn
May 17 at 2pm Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn
May 24 at Jamaica, Queens

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, have an interest in learning about the health field, and must be able to communicate with attendees of the events. Volunteers will be educated about the Foundation and its mission, and will be an integral part of our event marketing and community outreach strategies.

All interested parties must send resumes to info@talkondiabetes.org before April 29, 2016. For May dates, you must send your resumes and inquiry by May 7th, 2016.
