Everyone likes to feel special on their birthday, and the children in our care are no exception. You can help by sponsoring a child and making their Birthday Wishes come true. Volunteers who serve in this capacity visit the home on their buddies birthday to decorate their bedroom and provide gifts as well.

This is an ongoing opportunity in Rock Hill, SC. The Children's Attention Home is a residential program that serves children ages birth through 21 who have been removed from their homes because of abuse, abandonment, or neglect.

Our organization sustains its mission through the commitment of our volunteers and we certainly can't do what we do without them.

BIRTHDAY POLICY

• Children ages 8 & under are permitted a max of $50 in gifts from their requests.
• Children ages 9-12 are permitted a max of $75 in gifts.
• Children ages 13 & up are permitted a max of $100 in gifts.

Volunteers arrive on their scheduled date/time with the child's requested gifts to decorate the child's bedroom with streamers, balloons, paper lanterns, birthday signs/banners, messages, decorated canvas', wall decals, paper flowers, or any other creative ways to make the child feel special in accordance with their interests. Feel free to also write a personalized birthday card to your birthday buddy.

Bedrooms are decorated on weekdays between the hours of 9am-3pm on weekdays and between the lunch hour(12pm-1pm) on weekends/holidays.

Special Note: Our campus location is confidential. We will share our physical address after an orientation date has been confirmed.
