Angels Wings

Monthly meetings in preparation for Suoer Saturday (a free education event with workshops on health and wellness, financed management, and career development) . Experience in marketing, public relations, grant writing, social media, and fundraising background.

Annual Super Saturday event. Volunteers needed to greet community serve free breakfast, lunch, registration, assist with clerical needs, moderate workshops.

Celebration of You event (one on one time with those in need which would include a lunch ifor participants) preparations. Experience in marketing, public relations, grant writing, social media, and fundraising background.

Celebration of You (3-4 times a year) to specially picked organizations. Volunteers needed that are willing to talk with, read to, or just gave fun with those that are underprivileged veterans, seniors, or children.

Description

Angels Wings is a community based non-profit organization serving the Metro-Detroit community. Our organization works to serve the community by providing social services to low income individuals and families. We also act as a resource by connecting individuals and families with additional referral services. Angels Wings works to support high need populations which includes veterans, seniors, and low-income seniors. Some services provided by Angels Wings includes menotring, job preparedness, transitional housing, food, clothing, and health and wellness services. Angels Wings specializes in health living, mentoring/support, life skills building, and STD/HIV awareness.
