We are seeking volunteer photographers for an upcoming event.
Our annual event, Jodi's Race for Awareness, is taking place on Saturday, June 8th in Denver's City Park.
This great race attracted 3,000 people (and quite a few dogs!) last year and is our #1 fundraiser for COCA's programs such a support groups, COCA Cares Financial Assistance program, Comfort Kits and Resource Guides for newly diagnosed women, and much more.
We need to expand our force of volunteer photographers since our race and all its activities continue to expand each year! Would you be willing to give your time and talents to our cause? We do ask our photographers to give us electronic access to any photos they take. "Branding" of each photo with your name and business is totally encouraged.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance is to provide support to women and to promote awareness and early detection of gynecologic cancer through advocacy and education.
Description
The Colorado Women's Cancer Alliance (CWCA - formerly known as the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance) reaches out to Coloradoans who have been diagnosed with gynecologic cancer in many ways:
- Provides support through our Nicki’s Circle Support Groups
- Offers individual counseling
- Helps survivors to navigate the insurance and financial issues related to their diagnosis (Carol's Wish Financial Navigation Program)
- Offers financial assistance to Colorado women in treatment for ovarian cancer through the COCACares program
- Educates the general population about gynecologic cancer symptoms and risk factors through speaking engagements and via its "September Awareness" campaign.
- COCA's annual "Jodi's Race for Awareness" is a 5K run / 1 mile walk event whose primary goal is to raise awareness of gynecologic cancer. The event, that began in 2010, is held the second Saturday of June each year.
