Do you love talking to people and getting the community involved? Are you a HOCKEY fan? Are you you looking for a way to say "Thanks" and actually be a part of this unique style of helping the Troops? HOCKEY SAVES offers a healthy mental outlet for the Troops, introduces them to other Brother ans Sisters in Arms while teaching skills in the workforce to help them get back in the swing of things when returning to civilian life ans transitioning out of the military.
We need someone to help us develop and execute clever, fun and unique ways to reach out to the community by simply introducing our organization AND participating with our events and getting involved!!! The more creative the better! And most of all...you have lots of help from our Troops themselves...Our Service Members are trained to protect the Country so your community and events experience is needed to manage and teach and expose these brave men and women to a different side of civilian life not to mention several of our Troops will receive an award from the military by participating in community efforts... help us help them ... USA USA USA

Through community support, team building and mental stemulation gives our brave Heroes a few hours of 'nothing else matters' relieving stresses and reintroduction into civilian life and creating jobs so they yoo can live the American Dream they fought so hard for...all through the power of hockey.
Description
Covering all costs for non competitative ice hockey as our core therapy to ease post traumatic stress. Devloping family togetherness activities as well as community involvement activities. Introducing new people, making new friends who all share a common bond. Total focus on postive reinforcement and bringing out talents our participants never knew they had. Asisisting in building a small stepping stone for employment once out of the military.
