HHH Summer Camp is a feeding program for children in need of a hot lunch when school is out. We service children 4 years-old through 18 years-old. In addition to lunch, we have rotating activities for the children to participate, which include tutoring, reading buddies, arts & crafts, P.E., science, cooking camp, etc. We are in need of volunteers to:
- help the cook in the kitchen
- tutor students in the reading lab using the Virtual Reading Coach
- lead the Preschool/Kindergarten Classroom
- lead the Middle School through High School Group
- check students in and out at the front desk
- lead P.E., Games, and Music
- teach a favorite hobby to the children, such as chess or embroidery
- be teaching assistants
- be junior counselors
- be the "Go To" person for all the junior counselors
Last summer, we had an average of 68 children a day, so we need all the help we can get!

Description
St. John Church hosts an after-school tutoring program during the school year and the Spirit of Sharing (S.O.S.) Soup Kitchen every Thursday. We have combined these two outreaches to form HHH Summer Camp Feeding program for school aged children from 4 to 18 years old to provide a hot, nutrious lunch combined with a Reading Success Center and many engaging activities for students to participate in free of charge.
The program starts June 8 - July 30 on Monday-Thursday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
