Are you handy or looking for a place to put professional skills, such as carpentry, to use? Please consider volunteering at Old World Wisconsin!
Maintenance volunteers assist museum staff with the care of both modern and historic buildings, make general repairs, and assist with keeping public areas of the museum clean. Past projects include lawn mowing, wood cutting, repairing wood structures, electric equipment maintenance, painting, trail clearing, fencing, etc. Let us know your interests, needs, and skill level.
Old World Wisconsin volunteers receive generous benefits through the Wisconsin Historical Society, including free admission to all 12 WHS sites and museums, as well as discounts on WHS products and in WHS museum stores. Old World Wisconsin provides training and uniforms to all its volunteers.
